Subaru Taillight Out After Crash

I recent bumped my left taillight when backing up in an alley, the clear plastic casing of my left taillight was broken, along with a large dent in the left side of my care above the wheel. The bulbs inside the light are fine and the left turn signal still works. However my break light it out. Anyone know what I should replace, or if the denting could be causing issues inside and I should take it in? I ordered a taillight assembly piece and can get new bulbs.

Test the brake light circuit with a multi-meter or test light.
One brake light. two or three brake light circuits? Wiring or connector damage?
And the model year is?
