Hello helpful people! My 2014 Impreza Hatchback rear window is leaking in a heavy rain. Not in a light rain. Not sure where it is leaking from. My mechanic does not do window repairs. Glass America quoted $416.50 to replace. They do not reseal. Really don't want to pay $416.50 to replace it. Can anyone recommend how to reseal it? Can it even be resealed?

Not sure if it’s the same issue but my 2010 Outback had a known issue with leaking around the brake light. It looks like your Impreza has a similar light. I pulled the stoplight and sealed it years ago and it’s been fine.

Fantastic! I looked this up on Youtube also. I don't have the tools or the skills to repair it, but am going to ask my mechanic to do it since it doesn't have anything to do with the window. Thanks so much for your reply.

Just look up how to change the light bulb. I think there were screws inside the door to release the light. I used house caulking around the light and put it back in.
