Stereo knobs

Has anybody replaced their stereo knobs on 2017 Legacy with bigger ones? The factory ones are tiny and super shallow. It seems like I can't turn them without hitting the touchscreen. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you can find ones small enough, silicone rings (for fingers) make the knobs a little larger and grippier.

2016 Outback
Ring size 3 worked for me. This is small and it was difficult to find. Try looking for women's pinky or a child's size ring. I checked the Amazon rings I ordered, but the link is now invalid, so I don't have a link to provide.
My "issue" was that the knob was not easy to grip. The groves are rings instead of lines, lines would have provided better grip. The silicone ring was a satisfactory solution. The have lasted 6 years so far, no degradation.

Would an O-ring or similar flat ring not work? They're just about free.

Probably? Easy to try, let us know if it works for you. I went with the silicone wedding rings partially for the colors.

There is a big silicone o-ring selection because they are also used for decoration for piercings. Not sure about available sizes. You might find something thicker than the wedding rings. I didnt look into o-rings simply because i didnt think of it. I use o-rings to prevent chopsticks from falling through the dishwasher utensil basket.
