Steering radio controls adapter

Hello everyone! I have a 2011 impreza premium and I am wanting to remove the current radio w/navigation and install my own stereo but I don't want to give up the steering wheel controls. So far I have only been able to find 1 adapter that says it will work but when I hooked it up it did not work. Does anyone know how I can do this or where to find the right adapter?

AXXESS SWC-1 is the one I used for my car. You sometimes have to program it differently though. Some units also need to be manually updated as well. Check the AXXESS website for info on updates and how to wire it in.
