Solterra Maintenance Plan

I know the Solterra is an EV, and maintenance is still low.

And since it is a rebranded BZ4X, does anyone know if Subaru, or Toyota offers a maintenance plan that can be purchased?

For my 4Runner, I was able to purchase the maintenance plan out to 100,000 miles that will cover oil changes, cabin filters, and all other maintenance services on the vehicle.

The Solterra still requires fluids, checked and replaced every 6 months per the maintenance schedule I received with the vehicle. I would like to pre purchase a plan for this if available. This helps to ensure all maintenance is properly performed on the vehicle.

Or is it not worth it? Is the price to have to dealer perform these services insignificant enough to not worry about?

I don't know about the availability of a service plan, but surely a dealer would be willing to sell you something. I think the maintenance is so low on these that I don't see the value? It is wayyyyyy mostly rotating tires.
Then, wiper fluid, eventually wiper blades. Tires (which would most likely not be covered under a maintenance agreement?). Brakes only as needed, not at any specified time, and they should last a long time due to regenerative braking. Cabin filter (at 30,000 miles, or as needed... easy DIY). "Inspecting coolant" and only replacing at 120,000 miles (beyond most service agreements). I take it to my local, trusted mechanic, for tire rotations and 'inspections.' Shouldn't need actual "service" work done until 60,000 miles for e-transaxle fluid, and 120,000 miles for coolants, aside from tires and checking brakes.

Enjoy your Solterra... loving mine for sure!

EVs like the Solterra don’t need much maintenance compared to gas cars, and I haven’t seen any official prepaid plans for it yet. You’ll still need basic stuff like tire rotations, brake checks, and a few fluid inspections over time like you said, but nothing too crazy. Probably easiest just to pay as you go unless a dealer offers a decent package deal.

Did you end up getting a plan?
