In my Ford Fusion, when I say “hey Siri”, it comes up on the car’s screen and I speak my request (mostly sending iMessages), and Siri comes through the car speakers.
Is this possible in my 2019 crosstrek? I know Subaru has its own call maker system, but so does the ford - I just don’t use them.
now, if I say “hey Siri”, it comes up in my phone and I can barely hear it. I guess it would be different if I plugged the phone in (with CarPlay) but that’s not always convenient.

Yes, SIRI works fine. Once you have paired your device and car via bluetooth, hold in the phone (left) button on steering wheel (provided you have steering wheel controls) and it will summon SIRI. CarPlay works faster and better...

Ahh thanks! I’m used to just saying “hey Siri” but this will do for sure!
