Side Mirror Turn Indicators

Greetings All:
I recently introduced myself as the owner of a brand new 2025 Forester Premium. I have a burning question that I think I might know the answer to but need some conformation.
The Premium model does not come standard with side mirror turn indicators that, for whatever reason, I would really like to have on the vehicle. My guess is that the wiring for the signals is already in the mirror and just unused. Is there a way to 1) remove the mirror cover, make a connection and replace the 'slug' in the mirror with the turn indictor lens/lamp assembly, 2) replace the mirror with mirrors that have the indicators built in or 3) is it not doable at all? Hi did you ever find out the answer? I’m interested in a ‘25 Premium and I’m not interested in the 18” or 19” wheels on the sport, limited, touring trims. The premium is perfect with the exception of not having turn signal indicators

The dealer states that the wiring MAY be there. However, the cost to replace the side mirrors, which are color coded to match the body, was at pre-tariff, about $450 each. That put it kind of out of my reach. Like you, I was not interested in a leather package as my wife doesn't care for that but the tire size, to me, was not an issue.
I've owned by 2025 Forester Premium Plus for a little over a year now and find it a very satisfying drive. No need for a hybrid here on the Oregon coast as most of the driving is highway and in town there are only four stoplights. Travel on the I-5 yields up to 37 miles per gallon.
