I am looking to sell my Subaru Legacy if anybody would be interested. I am just trying to get out of the loan so that I can get into a Dually pickup for business endeavors. The car was special ordered from the dealer with a lot of extras including a PPF film and window tint all around in which I had added. Also has the spoiler, splash guards, door scuff protectors, Sti door cup protectors, door edge guards, floor mats, and the illumination footwell kit. It has 46,000 miles which most are long distant traveling from PA to CT. I’m going to take a little bit of a loss on the loan which I already understand so I’m just trying to get an amount that isn’t crazy off, but also more than what dealers are offering. I’m listing for $30k obo. Don’t be afraid to talk numbers. It’s blue with the tan leather interior. Also has blue metal paddle shifters.

Carvana is a super low ball offer. Carmax is better and KBB has been the best, but those numbers are what dealers have given me. I prefer to private sell because owing money on the car I need to get the best offer I can. I’ve also been willing to wait because I don’t need to sell the car just would prefer to before purchasing anything else. I feel like as a private sale I’m willing to be fair and I just haven’t received the interest that I thought I would receive being in the New England area.

You'll get the most by selling it outright. Pay off the loan and get the title, then post it for sale. Next best would be going through a dealer for the new vehicle, but you'll lose some $.

The vehicle I want unfortunately isn’t available at most dealers. Looking for an early 2000s Duramax. Hard enough to find in good condition and the best ones for the best prices are also private sales. I found a few at dealers but they’re also 15 hours away and trying to get them to send me an offer on my car without driving down there is like pulling teeth.

Being that a new car but having those many miles already, it's going to be a near impossible to sell it privately. I wish you good luck.
