Seat Back Swap

Has anyone ever swapped the top/back of their front seats before? A previous owner of my car had a "big back" and I feel like I'm sitting against the framework. The cushioning is pretty trashed and I want to take the top half apart and swap it with the passenger side.

Many OEM cushions are still available. Or replace the seat.
