Check Consumer Reports online. They give a breakdown of past year models and how well they hold up based on owner feedback. I get a survey every 6 months or so. You may need to subscribe to their website but I don't think it's very expensive. I check it before I make any decisions about high priced items. Are there any model years of Subaru Outback’s that have the best reputation for reliability as used cars?
