Q re 2013 Impreza Fog Lights

I'm a bit embarrassed to ask this, but are 2013 Impreza fog lights supposed to be always on with the headlights? I ask because our model does not have the separate fog light switch. We are only thinking about this now because a check engine light came on recently and the mechanic told us it had to do with the fog light bulbs having burned out. The Owners Manual talks about a separate fog light switch "(if equipped)" but says nothing about the fog lights when not equipped with the separate switch. It just seems odd to me to have the fog lights always on.

We do not have a separate switch, and yes we checked the manual as described in the original post.

Do you have this? You didn't say if you had a limited versus sport vs premium vs basic

Interesting you currently have it on fog lights which in your case may mean additionally to your headlights. The next setting down showing two lights should be just the headlights. Try this
