Put new engine in older vehicle?

I have a 2010 Impreza Outback Sport with a GREAT enginge, TOTALLED body. VIN: JF1GH6D68AG821774
According to Vindecoder.net,
Engine capacity: L4, 2.5L
Engine series: 4-Cyl. 2.5L
Engine type: 2.5L H4 SOHC 16V

I see for sale a 2005 Impreza 2.5 RS with a good body but "NEEDS MOTOR." VIN: 4S3BL616256202977
Engine capacity: 4 Cylinder, 2.5 L
Engine series: 4-Cyl. 2.5L
(Engine type not listed)

Would using the 2010 engine in the 2005 body be remotely possible?
