Own a 2023 Ascent that came with Falcon ZEIX ZE001 20" tires. They are completely worn to the wear bars after only 29,506kms of driving. Subaru says they dont warranty tires, Falcon doesnt warranty OEM installs, Anyone else have this? I know that OEM tires aren't the same as purchased direct tires and generally dont last as long but less than 30K ?? Ive never had that. Im aware of a TSB regarding certain 23 Ascents that had tires affected from a bad run at the factory but im outside of that by a week, so no help there. Looking for anyone that has had any dealer experience with this as the interwebs is awash with disgruntled prematurely worn OEM Falcon owners.

Subaru mothership or the tire manufacturer should help. Ties on new cars are indeed warrantied and the paperwork should be in your paperwork.

Service manager at the dealership says they aren't warrantied, Falcon tire has weighed in and said they dont offer warranty from them on OEM installed tires, I have a call into Subaru Canada and will apparently hear back from them within 3 days, so we wait for a possible customer service kiss. At the moment, Ive been told that because they have no records of me paying them for a 4 wheel alignment once a year, its clearly my fault....in spite of my winter tires wearing perfectly fine and evenly on the same vehicle for almost the same kms.....Its uphill with this dealership every time. Likely never buy another subaru when im done with this one. Good vehicle, love it in the winter, fits my needs perfectly,, but its just so tiring dealing with a dealership that acts like this one.

It's about what I'd expect from an obscure, off brand like Falcon.
Tires are cheap compared to your life. It's worth the investment to get a decent set of tires on your car and you'll likey even be money ahead too.

i am new to the forum today. I had a 2016 Forester that came with Yokohama tires. At 30,000 K one suffered a puncture and the tires were so worn that OK tire recommended a new set. I traded in my 2016 and am now driving a 2026 Crosstrek hybrid. I opted for Michelin All Weather tires. The dealership gave me the four Falken tires that came on the car. Shows how much they are really worth.

Update. Subaru Canada says they aren't warrantied as thats something I would get from the manufacturer, who says they don't warranty because they are OEM installations. Any inspection of the tires by my dealer will be at my cost....So, looks like I'll just go buy new tires. what a system
