I recently moved to a new area. The majority of the roads are in poor condition. Dirt, sand, pot-holes. Sketchy AF sometimes.

I've heard the Outback is a great car for down here.
Which generations have the best aftermarket support?
What is the "toughest" generation?

The 2010-2016 models are known to have reliable 4cly motors and good off-road capabilities.
