poor quality poor service

    air bag light on--- $42.00 to hook up computer to tell me that it needs a
    harness kit for under the front seat at $102.17+taxes to fix. If there is a
    repair harness to me that means the problem is design or build based and
    should be subaru's responsibility. My 98 forrester standard was great and
    gave me nearly 400,000K this 03 forrester automatic with102,000K doesn't
    hold a candle to it and when I look at the service costs I've had to spend
    already, transmition, brakes, door seals, electronics I won't be a good
    reference cantidate Art H.

    I'm not impressed with Subaru quality in that generation either.

    On the other hand, $150 is a fraction of a new car payment.
