Please help me identify my Subaru

This sounds really dumb and I feel really dumb, but yesterday I picked up a used Subaru that I bought from a dealer last week. When I checked the VIN online it said it's an Outback. When I got my registration from the dealer (it's common in my state for the dealer to register the vehicle) it says it's a Legacy. The car says Outback on the back of it but so did the Impreza that I used to own years ago.

It seems the VIN checker should be correct? Hopefully there aren't implications of it being registered as something different.
