My wifes 99 Outback has piston slap bad enought that SOA agreed to replace 2
pistons on driver side, Then the dealer told us that there were no corrective
piston for her DOHC 2.5 beause it was a Phase I. Have heard somewhere that some
99's had phase II block but ere still DOHC and not single . Anyone knoe how to
determine what block she has? Thanks, Jack
