Anyone else here having this issue and trouble getting it resolved?

It's been talked to death. Look around this very Forrester topic. Get a tender charger, install it and the problem is solved.

Just drive it
Look, I get it
I have eight cars and trucks
I drive them all
You drive yours
I don't drive my 69 Mustang everyday nor my 56 Mainline, but I do drive them

most of the time it's the radio, or the "subaru security system"( if so equipped). find the fuses for both, pull them. See if the problem goes away

DCM bad. Ask dealer why?
Have to add a bypass free of charge. New DCM's not available till sometime in 2025.
Should have been a recall. If you are the original owner of the car
you should have gotten a letter about it. Still covered. Demand a answer.

I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I had the same issue in December 2023 on my 2017 Outback 3.6R Touring. If I didn't run my car everyday, the battery would be dead. The OEM battery was six years old so I thought it was time to replace it. After two battery replacements, it was determined the DCM was drawing 3X the amount of power it was supposed to. Apparently this is known issue to Subaru. Once the DCM was replaced (Gen1 to Gen2), the problem disappeared and my cell phone calls were clear again. The cell phone issue was resolved as the Gen1 DCM supported up to 3G which Verizon no longer supports. Since I have a 5G phone, when the Gen2 DCM was installed my call were much clearer. I hope this helps.
