2024 Crosstrek with 18-month-old (original) battery was fine, then battery drained mysteriously while the car was parked in garage for 4 days. Nothing appeared to have been left turned on, and the car automatically turns off things like lights and radio. Battery charged back up fine and has had no problems since. Any ideas on what could have caused the drain?

It's a problem. But it is normal. Design flaw(s). There are some alleged possible fixes out there. google DCM.

Hi all,
I have the parasitic battery drain on the 2018 outback 3.6R and have been trying to figure out what the fix is. I have taken out a fuse to the liftgate and it seemed to be the resolution or shall I say the car started without being jumped; but then, the car didn’t start after once. Since this has been an ongoing issue does anyone know how it can be corrected without going to Subaru. Is it a fuse?

I don't think 2024 had the Starlink fault.
There's so much electrical stuff going on what with autostop/start etc that's one of the reasons I installed a Scangauge in my car so I can monitor voltage, alternator duty cycle, operating temps etc.
