Oil around oil filter

I am new to this 2017 Crosstrek. I had the oil changed and i noticed oil around oil filter. Is this normal ? Thanks for any help.

take a paper towel or a old rag you dont want anymore and dry up the oil around the filter. If you have more oil tomorrow then the o ring on the filter is bad. If no oil then who ever changed your oil and filter last time did a sloppy job.
