I cant get the obdii gauges to read my 2025 wrx. Projects via android auto but no readings. It wirks in my 2020 wrx.

It should OBDII is a standard bus. Which or who's gauge are you using? I like the Scan Gauge III. No programming needed and it reads and displays lots of parameters plus keeps tabs on mileage.

The brand is obdii mx+. It reads my 2020 not my 2025. Maybe its a different type of data stream.

Not sure about the '25 Subarus but definitely not on the '26s. From my pre post:

If you have a '26 your old OBDII scanner will not work on your Subaru. Like many other '26s uses the WWH OBD ISO 27145 protocol which cannot be recognized by pre 26 scanners.....tried my recent ones.....NADA.

Cheapest one I have found that uses ISO 27145 is the Scan Gauge III at $270. Advance Auto gives a 20% on line discount. An excellent scanner which can retrieve codes and provide many real time inf, e.g CVT temp, while driving.
