New Starlink software update--any details

I got an email today from Subaru about an ew software update for my 2024 Crosstrek. The update "fixes...a microphone issue that caused spontaneous muting during calls" and includes "general software improvements." Does anyone know what the "general software improvements" are? I hope it's a dose of amphetamines to speed up the laggy response!

This is the third update I've gotten in the year I have owned the car.

I down loaded the update to my 2024 Crosstrek. It definitely imporved the annoying "hands on wheel" notifications when I am using cruise control. Some changes to the home screen too. Response time seems to be the same.

I now have the update. Response time to the home screen is the same, as SJUMBA93 posted above. What home screen changes did you see? I didn't go through every screen...

I noticed no difference with the "hands on wheel" notification when I was using adaptive cruise control and whatever Subaru calls it when it's actively steering to keep me in a freeway lane. It's still annoying!

You should have gotten an email from Subaru explaining the process. Basically, you will get a message in your screen that an update is available. You can’t force the install to happen. It takes about 10 minutes, and it can be done while you’re driving. After the update is done, or when you get to your destination, shut off the car, lock it up, and leave it for at least five minutes.

BTW, a new “feature” in the update is a periodic message inviting you to sign up for Sirius.

I wonder if there's an update version number of the old and new software that I could check to see if I have the updated version. I never did get a letter from Subaru so maybe the 2024 models have the latest.
