My local mechanic has installed three different sets of mufflers (dual mufflers) in my 2010 Subaru Forester in the past month and has had problems with all. The first two were not OEM and made loud growling sounds. The regional manager of the parts shop listened to the second and agreed to replace it with dual OEM mufflers. Now, the muffler sound is much softer and is good at start, good at medium and fast speed but briefly makes a new and unusual belching, rattling noise in the first mile or two (actually sounds like a human passing gas). Any ideas what this could be? Thank you!
