New member, building kit car question

I am building a Factory Five track car and it requires a Subaru WRX as a donor car. It will use the spindles, rack, brakes, engine, turbo and transaxle will become a mid engine car etc.
Are there a certain years to stay away from or certain years that would be better, any help would be great. The car when complete will weigh about about 2,000 lbs. I have built a lot of race cars but not familiar with Subaru's.

I just found out that the year has to be 2002-2007 due to the wieing harness and some other things that will not fit.
