Need new Clutch

This may be a stoopid question to some out their ..

My clutch is barely hanging in their / ill be replacing it !

what i want to know is should i let the mechanic's just order the clutch / name clutch ?

do i need a heavy duty clutch since im changing it ? or better clutch ??

recondition if possible the same one? like i really dunno aye .. i got quoted $1100 for clutch and labour

I would just make sure its a oem replacement from Subaru.
What is the condition of the flywheel? Does it need to be replaced or can you have it resurfaced?
I dont feel that $1100 isnt too bad knowing the amount of work involved in replacing the clutch but shop around if you have time. Ask the shop what brands they will use. Ask questions about the work but dont be a menace.
