Hello forum,
My impreza overheated and completely died. There is a new radiator now. There's also new oil temp sensor, crankshaft position sensor, spark plugs, and fuel injectors. Fuel pump was changed last year. It turns over but still wont start. I know its a long shot, but any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Need 3 things to run .. spark, fuel, compression. If it spins over good & it wasn't severely damaged by overheat (head warp=compression lost), I would make sure it's getting fuel. I had same situation due to bad relay. Same relay may be used multiple places, so try swapping two of same part number. Good luck.

My legacy lately has been giving me starting issues. Pumping the gas pedal once or twice and a crank or 2 gets it going.

Yes, bmart, it was also low on oil. I had someone come by and they pulled a whole bunch of new codes that my scanner did not.
B0101, B0102, B0103, B0104
U1201, U1300, U1321, and B0401
He also said he thought it was the ecm, but wasn't 100% certain.
I don't have $1000 for a new ecm especially if I'm not sure that it will fix it.
It turns over fine, and sounds like it wants to start, but just wont.
I've been trying to figure this out for 5 months already, because I do not have the means to get a new car. So I guess you could say that I'm pretty desperate to figure this out. I appreciate the help. Thanks

It did overheat pretty severely, but I'm pretty sure its getting fuel. When I changed the injectors, fuel came pouring out. Any idea which relays I should try?

If it happened due to very low or no oil, that puppy is likely a goner. Oil checks are free insurance... My neighbor let his go low also and it has been down for months as replacement engines have also been bad.

thanks bmart, I appreciate your input. I've been thinking that too. The last guy that I had look at it seemed to think that the engine was ok and that it was more electrical. I have no other option for transportation right now, so I'm gonna keep trying to figure out what those codes mean if I can.
