Hi all. I’ve been having a misfire on my 2005 Baja Turbo. I moved from Colorado to Florida about 3 months ago and everything was fine in Colorado. Now that I’m in Florida, the misfire happens and this is happening after I had a newly rebuilt motor put in. The misfire happens when I am accelerating from 40 mph- 60 mph and it happens at the same exact time and rpm. At about 58 mph and 4500-4600 rpm and 3rd gear(tap shifting automatic) the engine stops and then goes again. I can recreate this event every time. I have cleaned the fuel system, replaced the plugs and coil packs, and even bought new injectors(not installed yet) and it still misfires. The code/check engine light goes off after normal driving for a little while but always comes back on after I hit that acceleration zone. Before I go and install new injectors, I’d like to know if anyone has had this experience before and maybe point me in the right direction to fix it or see if it’s something covered under the engine warranty.
