I am trying to make a decision by tomorrow on a set of 4 replacement
tire for my 2000 Outback. I was due to replace the original Wilderness
tires in October and a road hazard on the highway punctured a sidewall
today so I need to do the replacement tomorrow.
I live in Connecticut and need an all season tire that is good in the
snow and hopefully will not hydra-plane on wet highways as much as the
Wilderness tires did.
Any suggestions by owners? I have read good and bad things about the
Michelin Hydra Edge, MXV4 Plus, Pilot, and the Bridgestone Potenza
RE950. A local salesmen was telling me that the Toyo Proxes TPT were
better than the Michelin MXV4 Plus.
I thought I was going to have more time to make a decision.
