Melted headlight connector

Hi guys, i have a 2009 impreza RS that has just melted one of the connectors that plugs onto the headlamp bulb (not high beam), it also blew the bulb, I thought it would be an easy fix by just replacing the bulb and connector. Unfortunately that didn’t work, I've replaced the above but it still won't work. The fuse is ok, and the other side works fine, any ideas ? Somebody suggested resetting the ECU as it may have put itself in some sort of safety mode.
