Key help

Hello, I just bought a nice 2018 impreza for my son but need to get a second key cut/programmed.
I got a new blank key w/ fob
can i program it myself then get the key cut?
how to program instructions available someplace?
best/cheapest way to get it all done?

I had to get a fob programmed and key cut by the dealer. It wasn't cheap as I recall but was done while I waited.
I bought the car used and it came with only one key and fob, however later the spare turned up and was sent to me So now I have three keys and fobs. Two spares is better than no spares at all.
