Jammed door lock fixed without tools!

My outback had the rear door jam up one day. Seemed the lock switch refused to move. nothing worked and could not get the panels to come off. Just gave up and accepted I have a rare 3-door model. The other day we drove down a bumpy dirt road and my wife forgot that the door did not work: OPENED IT RIGHT UP! Works fine now. Hope this works for others.

Open the doors and lubricate the latch assembly(s) > do that on all doors > and save the bumpy dirt road cure.
Then check the door latch adjustment for proper movement.
