I added a button for garage door opener to my Crosstrek as I didn't like how the opener didn't fit on the visor and there was nowhere to properly stow it
I made a video

I'm happy how this turned out, hope this helps someone

You do know about homelink mirrors, I assume. It's a button on the rear view mirror.

That would be nice to have but unfortunately the Crosstrek Wilderness doesn't have that, only a plain mirror!

I think it's supposed to be a dealer installed kinda thing. I bought mine used and it was there already. I just had to learn how to make it work with my opener.
