Im considering getting a 2018 or newer impreza hatchback. My question is how much tongue weight can i put on the hitch? I have seen class 3 hitches available and one that goes to 525lbs tongue weight. Can i actually put 525lbs on the tongue?
The car wont be pulling a trailer. I want to make a cargo carrier to hold 2 small 90lbs snowblowers and 110lbs pail of salt.
Is 525lbs to much for the car to handle or does it exceed some sorta cargo capacity?
