Help with 03 Outback LL Bean seat issue

Help with seat issue
I have been rebuilding and refinishing the front seats in my new to me 03 LLBean Outback.

Has anyone here removed the solid panel on the driver seat back?
If so, any info on how to remove this panel on the driver seat back.
I have tried prying it off at the seams but no luck. So there must be fasteners that do not pop off ;^(

I have had three lower back surgeries

So I always add a pump up lumbar, heat, and vibration into all my driver's seats. But first I need to open up the back of my Outback's seat.
