I have a 2014 Subaru Outback premium with 35,000 miles in excellent condition except for rub marks on right rear bumper. I need new tires. Should I keep car and replace tires, sell car as is out right or trade in for another newer outback? Second car is a Subaru 2016 Legacy with all the adons and 22,000 miles. I have had 0 problems with either car.

Why sell it? I keep my vehicles for a long time and I just look at things that break as regular maintenance. Like a hose burst is a failure but because they are a wear item they should be replaced after a few years. I'm selling my BMW X3 because I don't trust it on a long trip. But it has 140,000.
I would replaced the tires and keep going.

Thats going to be your personal preference. If you want a new car with new features, sure sell the '16 and get a '22.
You have a 2014 & 2016 with 35k & 22k miles. There would be zero reason to sell/trade either car unless you just wanted something new.
