I often need to leave my 2025 Subaru Forester running and locked. The main key is in the ignition and the car is running with the AC or heat on, I then exit the vehicle and manually lock the driver side door. When I come back to the vehicle it will not unlock manually. I cannot use the fob to lock/unlock it due to on of the safety features. I’ve gotten locked out 4 times and had to call roadside assistance. I have taken it to the dealership multiple times but because they can not replicate it while it’s there they can’t fix it. They did take the door panel off and said all the internal components looked fine. Has anyone had this issue? Could it be an electrical issue? Please help

Fwiw, I would never ever lock a. Shocked while it’s running. Never ever do that.
