Help Fast.... I can not get the passenger door open......

2013 Outback. I can not get the passenger door open after removing the door panel and regulator. I closed the door temporarily while waiting for the part to arrive and now the exterior handle does nothing as if it was locked. Not sure how to unlock it as its all in pieces.
