DAMN!!!! Just when i thought there was hope!

Those of you that have been keeping tabs on the Toyota/Subaru FR sports
car (codenamed the 086A) are about to be in for a huge disappointment.
The Detroit Free Press has reported that the highly anticipated FR
sports car has been put on hold, and Hachiroku fans are advised to not
hold their breaths for a release anytime soon. While this news comes
with no confirming press release by either comp

Maybe Toyota will buy the Corvette line from GM, that would be cheaper.
And they might as well buy the pickup/truck line also. Those are
the only two things I'll miss when GM goes tits up.

Read this article, dated March 02, 2009:

TOKYO — If you've recently read a story or two about the delay, or even the
demise, of the compact sport coupe that Toyota and Subaru are jointly
working on, don't believe it. That's the message from knowledgeable PR
sources in Japan, who tell Inside Line that this intriguing sports car
program is still very much on track.
