Greetings to all from a first time Subaru owner!

I've owned many a vehicle in my 60+ years, but this is my first Subaru. I test drove my new 2025 Outback Wilderness with 6 miles on the ticker, and drove it off the lot with 10 miles on the car (and *cough* thousands of dollars less in my pocket). Looking forward to learning some new things and having some fun.

Welcome and Congratulations! I just purchased my second Subaru Outback. Traded in my 2020 Outback Limited for a 2025 Outback Touring XT. I loved the 2025 Outback Wilderness but my wife wanted the creature comforts. Loved both cars!

Just make sure you do all the proper routine maintenance including a ‘drain and fill’ transmission fluid change about every 36000/3 yrs. That’s what’s recommended in Japan if you buy and live there. Here in states they want a 25000 mile change if pulling trailer, or similar heavy duty operation. This is for my 2018 forester.
