You were right. Google does know where the fuel filter is.

If you ever do go to replace the fuel filter, replace the fuel pump at the same time (and vice versa)
Bad luck ensues if you replace just one and not the other part
It all started with Dodge trucks in 1995, now Mercedes, Ford and even Subaru has in tank filters
Replace 'em both
