Front end shudder on RT turns

2001 legacy, 65k km getting a shudder which seems to come from the front
end. Only noticed it within the last week and occurs so far only
intermitently on tighter right hand turns (ie at an intersection). Feel it
through the wheel somewhat, and can hear it. Initially thought it was snow
tires scrubbing in wheel well snow pack, but wheelwells and driveshafts are
clear of snow. Powersteering fluid level ok. Closest I can describe it is
like the ABS pulsing feeling. Any suggestions?

TIA

If you have the 4EAT, try putting the FWD fuse in the slot in the
fusebox under the hood. If after that the shudder goes away you have
duty'C' solenoid/clutch pack problems.(or possibly one or more different
sized tires).

search 'torque bind' on the message bds. at www.usmb.net or www.nasioc.com

Thanks for the tip and links Carl. I also will check the tire preasure as
the temp. has been up and down recently so it's possible one is getting a
bit softer than the others.
