Greetings. Well, with the best-laid plans, I was installing an after-market radio in my 2014 Subaru Forester. All was going as well as could be expected when the little copper piece that fits between the airflow control nob and the wire harness fell into the abyss. My question is, does anyone know where I could get another copper piece to replace it? I could go to the junkyard, but my first choice would be simply ordering one. Thanks ahead of time for your help.

Have you looked up the part, or asked the dealer to? Parts pics/lists are readily available on any Subaru site.

My humor won't let me not type this (former editor...). Just because the k in knob is silent, doesn't mean that you shouldn't type it. :)

A junk yard might be your best bet if it is not sold separately...or an eBay special that has a bad part where you need only the copper piece. I just had to do this for an A pillar clip that only came as part of the A pillar. Guy at the junk yard gave me two for free.
