Flashing lights after battery replacement

E

Eric Massie

I just replaced the battery in my 96 Legacy Outback. Now all of my dash
lights, turn signals, etc. flash very slowly. It will stop after a while
and then start again. The flashing is independent of the other flashers
(turn signal, hazards, etc). Is this some sort of anti-theft feature? How
do I make it stop?

Thanks

Eric,

If you have remote-control door locks, activate the locks with your
remote. If you have lost your remote, there is apparently a button on
the door lock control module under the dash near the steering wheel that
will reset the door lock control system.
