Eyesight issues

Hello, I am strongly considering buying a 2025 Outback. I am concerned about the issues with the EyeSight tech. I would like to hear form owners as to the magnitude of this issue ? Is it a significant problem or has it been over hyped ? Also, general opinion on the 2025 Outback ? thanks !!!

I think EyeSight and adaptive cruise control is a real boon. Currently I'm driving coast to coast across the country and I very much appreciate all of the various component systems of EyeSight.

My dad has had a few newer Subarus, as have close friends. I hated them all. Most have moved on/up to Mazdas if they need to offroad capability. Subaru has lost their way.

Check your manual! All of that can be turned off, and it won't automatically turn on by itself.

It is my dad. I couldn't care less. I have older cars that require aware drivers.
