2.2L engine
The check engine light is on. When I connect the 2 black connectors
that flashes out the error code using the check engine light, it reports
an error code of 35. According to the book, that is the purge control
solenoid valve (for the evaporative canister). The Chilton book that I
have mentions it, shows it in a diagram, but never shows where it is
located. I tried tracing the lines from the evaporative canister but
got lost (and ran out of time today). Anyone know where to find this
solenoid?
I saw one article in a Google search that said it was under the
passenger side intake manifold. Hopefully I can get to it there. I'll
clear the ECM of any existing error codes but if the cod 35 returns then
I'd like to know where to find this solenoid.
