Engine swap

Aloha, I have a 2008 outback pzve, the motor is shot. I have another good motor that I'm thinking about swaping. Im finding alot of difference in the two. The long blocks look very similar. My engine has a metal intake and spark plug wires, the other engine has a plastic intake and coil over plugs. Im wondering if I could swap the fuel and ignition systems and it would work. Any thoughts ?

Different years or generations? Is one turbo?

Trying to figure out the model of the donor engine. Seems to be from a 2010 Forester. Both are non turbo.

The donor engine has the coil over plugs and plastic intake. I stopped by the Subaru dealership in Eureka California where I live. We're trying to figure out if the heads from the donor engine will accept the manifolds and all other related components. Once I strip them down.
