I have a 2011 Subaru forester that has recently had the drivetrain start binding. It’s the manual transmission. I’m assuming it needs a new viscus coupler but I don’t need the awd to actually be working and I don’t have the money for a viscus coupler right now. All I’m wondering is there a way to disable the awd so that I’m not doing any damage and can drive it until I save enough money to buy the right parts to fix. With the autos I know there’s a fuse to pull or add but I don’t think it’s working that way. Can I remove the driveshaft?

No the front two are different from the back two. The car was that way when I got it. I also have a tpms light on but I’m not sure that affects anything. The tire pressure is okay.
What is drive belt?
