I love my Viofo A229 Plus enough that I put one in each car.

I agree with @piste. I have a Vantrue N4 3-channel and was able to self install it with full-time battery power in about 20 minutes. Fortunately, I haven't had to refer back to any bumps while the car is parked, but it does have that capability. Supposedly with the latest Sony sensor it is pretty good on clarity and resolution.
