CV axles

Quick question, when buying CV axles, Ive noticed that it specifies whether the car is automatic or manual. Does that matter at all with CV axles? Is the threading different or something?

Quick question, when buying CV axles, Ive noticed that it specifies whether the car is automatic or manual. Does that matter at all with CV axles? Is the threading different or something?

If they are asking, it usually matters. FWIW, my 4Runner, despite having different bearing setups between driver and passenger sides, the CV axles are identical.
Probably just a different attachment between the Automatic CVT and a 6M trans.
