Curious If My Car Ever Had A Lien On It

When I bought this car I didn’t really think about its financial history, but now that I’m dealing with some insurance stuff, I’m wondering if it ever had a lien or anything like that before I bought it. I found an old piece of paperwork in the glovebox with a finance company name on it, which might mean nothing, but it made me curious. The title I got looked clean to me, but I’m not exactly an expert at spotting weird markings or anything. Just wondering if there’s a simple way people usually check whether a car was financed, repossessed, or anything like that in the past.

Title would show a lien, generally, and they would not have released it if monies were owed.
